It began for Sara Brookesย in February 2010 to perhaps hook some readers about the story she was writing. Now, it is an amazing adventure for authors all over the map. This week I am posting six sentences from my WIP, Siren Song…

A dense cloud lurked on the surface of the water ahead as the ferry plunged into darkness. No lights in the distance, just pitch black. The fog gnawed away at the boat like a hungry monster.

The fog-horn thundered behind Tori. The sound sent shivers straight through her wool coat. Salty sea air misted over her face, leaving a sticky film as she strolled on the deck toward the shrinking Seattle skyline.

Your comments are always welcome and very much appreciated.

I weave myth, magic and fairy tales into my paranormal novels. I would rather spend my days with sirens and shapeshifters than live in the real world.
